Let Your Fingers do the Tapping through The Yellow Pages with your iPhone

Just when you thought your iPhone couldn’t get any better, AT&T has added the yellow pages. Now I know that probably isn't a big deal because you can always find a way to use the yellow pages with other digital equipment you have, but it is more convenient from your phone.

One of the features of doing this is that you can quickly pull up information about local businesses or local events and you can put them into a plan where you can also send this information to your friends. As an example, you are browsing the events and you find something that you want to attend but it is happening tonight.

Send Information to Your Friends for a Meet up

You can send this information to your friends and perhaps have a meet-up once you get there. This is way more convenient than calling them individual or texting them to ask if they can make it. Also, this is great because you can do it while you are on the go.

Another nice feature is that the events and businesses listed are rated by iPhone users. This means that you know about what other users are talking about and where they are going. This is a must if you want to keep up to date with your friends.

Another good example for the use of this application is the fact that you might want to plan a night out with your friends but you can't get to everyone. You can choose a restaurant, a night spot or an event and have them meet you there while you are moving from one place to another.

It seems that AT& T is listening to its customers because they have attached this feature to these screens: Web, mobile and TV through AT&T U-verse (SM) services. These screens have been identified as the ones that people use the most. It makes common sense that they would want this feature easily available to those who want to use it.

The other way to use this feature is when you travel. Whether you are at home or in another city you can do a series of scans from your iPhone that includes reviews, daily ratings and even important business details.

The plans are a nice feature too. Imagine being able to bundle a group of ideas or suggestions for a night out and then being able to send this information to your friends all at once. You can also scan through past and those that are coming up -- this can help you keep busy and take care of your busy schedule.

But don't take our word for it. Try out this new feature and see what you think.
