AT&T Joins Microsoft's Partner Solutions Center to Make Products Better

AT&T has decided to work with Microsoft to be a part of their Partner Solutions Center. This seems to be a good idea so that more people can readily see what they are doing and developing. This seems to be a smart move on AT&T's part because they have more access to specific customers.
The reason they did this was so that Microsoft's customers would have an opportunity to test out many products of the Windows Mobile 6.0 probably before anyone else gets to test them. This will help businesses and individual customers over the long haul.
This was a very smart move by AT&T and they are going to benefit in many ways. Not only will they have the attention of these businesses and consumers but they will also have a space where they can sell what they develop right in the Partner Solution Center.
This seems to be another way for AT&T to broaden their brand. This also allows them to show their products in a safe environment before they take it out to a global market. We would imagine that this will allow them to tweak any products that don't go well before they send them on to the global market.
Another reason this is a good idea is because as they work with Microsoft to understand how to sell their products to their customers, AT&T stands to have a larger market share than some of the other mobile phone companies.
AT&T And Other Partners
What is really interesting is if you follow AT&T you will see that they are really attempting to partner with many different places to show that they are up-to-date and concerned about how they are perceived by the community.
They are showing their commitment to the environment as well as to consumers on a global market. As an example, besides Microsoft, they have joined The Green Grid which is a global consortium who wants to advance energy efficiency in the various business computing areas.
We are not sure at this time how this will affect their relationship with Microsoft, but since they are helping the EPA to develop an ENERGY STAR rating for data centers, this seems like something they will develop in the MPSC.
AT&T has committed to the environment by working with organizations and suppliers to help identify solutions in this area. In a way, this is a radical step for a large company but with society's turn to "Green" it makes a lot of sense.
This move shows that AT&T is really attempting to be conscious of their impact on their customers and on the world. We hope that they will continue to show this initiative.
The MPSC is located on the Redmond, WA camps of Microsoft and AT&T will have access to partner showcase labs, Hyper-V technology laboratories and a superior technology room for briefing among other opportunities. This seems like it is a great opportunity for all involved.
