Sprint Now Gives You Push-To-Talk with a Larger Voice Calling Area

Sprint has really come a long way in listening to their subscribers and keeping up with necessary improvements to their offerings. Sprint is expanding their telephone service in several areas and adding cell phone available.
The four phones that are being moved into more areas are the LX400 by LG, Z400 by Samsung, and PRO-200 and PRO-700 by Sanyo. These phones were being offered in only 46 markets but as of July 10, 2008 they will be available in 14 more markets. Some of these new markets are: Phoenix, Ariz., Upper Central Valley, Calif., East Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire.
According to Sprint, subscribes will have more Push-to-Talk (PTT) handsets available to them and there will be more than any other carrier. Also, since this is the largest community of PTT users, you can expect that people will be able to get more done in a shorter amount of time with faster speeds and instant connections.
This always boggles my mind when I find a cell phone that can offer all of this in one place. No wonder everyone is so competitive and why customers change their cell phones often!
If you are not a subscriber to Sprint, we have to tell you that one of the reasons why people like Sprint's programs so much is they like the exclusiveness of some of the products. After all, where else can you get instant connection to PTT? The new phones are also adding Sprint Mobile Broadband and their largest voice calling area. It seems that the new phones are going to be something that no one has seen prior to their release.
New Phone Features
If you are wondering what the new phones will be like, here are some of the details:
LX400 by LG9R) -- this phone offers Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel camera, noise reduction and GPS. It also gives the Nextel Direct Connect push-to-talk services.
Z400 by Samsung® -- this phone is certified to Military specification 819F which basically means you will be guarded against shock, dust and vibration. This one also has a pixel camera, Bluetooth and Sprint Navigation. And of course, the push-to-talk choices. Although this is a little more expensive than the LX400, you will have enhanced features for the with the push-to-talk application.
Pro-200 by Sanyo® -- In this one you get all the features of the other two and you get Bluetooth® mobile email and messaging.
Pro-700 by Sanyo® -- this is another rugged phone and allows you to get instant communication in some of the harsher environments. This one is also certified by the military for dust, shock and vibration.
It is nice to know that Sprint has been so thoughtful in watching the market and finding ways to help their customers work more effectively. To see if these phones are offered in your area, check Sprint's website.
