Verizon Held Teleconference to Offer Information on the New V CAST Music with Rhapsody Feature

Although this may seem like old news it is something that you need to know about if you are not a Verizon customer. Verizon has created a partnership with V CAST Music and Rhapsody to bring customers a lot of music.
This was an important teleconference because V CAST Music with Rhapsody is the first mobile subscription service; in other words, you won't find this service with any other cell phone company.
The way they have chosen to do this is that Verizon Wireless has taken their over-the-air mobile music and merged it with Rhapsody's service that to date has only been available on your desktop computer. They now are giving unlimited access to a variety of music and you can get this offer on up to three of your mobile phones.
However, the service doesn’t stop there. You can also use it on other places; download the music to your PC and Web browsers for only $14.99 per month. Such a deal they are giving! You get to download a copy of the master from the album and not worry about the digital rights management (DRM) software that usually limits how you use the music. Verizon has taken care of all of that.
What You Get For the $14.99 Per Month
We think you will be excited about what you can get for this extra charge each month. Here are some of the features available:
- Access to more than 5 million songs
- The ability to create playlists, view playlists that other people have created, and even view playlists that celebrities have created.
- You are able to burn, import and convert your CDs to play anywhere you go
- You can manage the digital music collection you already have, synch it to your mobile phone and pay no additional charge.
- You get non-protected MP3s for 99 cents person and play them on your PC
- You also are able to get two copies of each song, you can buy them on the phone and over-the-air for only $1.99.
No wonder Verizon was so excited about getting this information out to the media and to analysts. They wanted people to start talking about this so that consumers would be ready to purchase the service when it became available. Smart thinking.
This service allows any music lover to find the music they love and be able to listen via their cell phones. You can actually plug your cell phone into a boom box to give you more power. Who would have thought your cell phone could be so versatile?
We can't imagine having access to 5000 songs at one time. What is anyone going to do with that much music? There is one thing for sure though, you won't get bored with it and you may even discover a new recording artist or two.
