T-Mobile's web2go Debuts

T-Mobile recently debuted its new web browsing option along with a new pricing plan for data access. The new web2go will work across voice phones and smartphones making the web even more accessible to mobile users.
T-Mobile was already a player in the mobile Internet market with T-Zones, now however, users will have the ability to customize their home page, access more downloads, use themes and colors, and customize up to 8 channels.
The data plan released is an unlimited data access plan that bundles voice, web and email features. This type plan will save families and individuals a lot of money on their cell phone bills.
Web2Go Features
The new web2go is packed full of features for users to communicate and keep abreast of the world with, including:
- Web optimization for your phone; enhanced network for the best possible web2go browsing.
- Home page made your way. Custom home pages created by you using colors and themes.
- Personalized e-mail and social sites, can be changed anytime.
- Access to the entire web with the web2go subscription service.
- Re-download contents through the My Download center, no need to call for help.
- Search for people, places, or web content your results are on your web2go home page.
- Search using Yahoo OneSearch with simplified shopping and downloading.
Web2go is a subscription service; however, users who aren’t subscribed still have access to one web site per week. Once users see how the service works they can subscribe directly from their phone. No customer support involved.
Subscription users will have access to ringtones, wallpaper games and other featured items in the T-Mobile storefront. Web2go is available across the majority of T-Mobiles phones and is automatic for new T-mobile customers.
