Ford Motor Company has selected Sprint to be the provider of hands free Bluetooth communication system in their select Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles. Handsfree calling in Ford cars is made possible using Mobile-Ease, an application that is powered with Bluetooth technology to integrate mobile phones wirelessly to the existing audio system in the vehicle. The end result of this integration is the added safety for drivers and the passengers as their hands are free while making cell phone calls.
