Many Verizon Wireless customers have been anxiously waiting to see
what, if any, changes would occur with the merge of Verizon and Alltel.
Alltel customers have been nervously awaiting the same news.

The good news for everyone is that the Friends and Family plan is
here to stay. Alltel customers can breathe easier and Verizon customers
can applaud.

From games to productivity, the applications available for the Apple
iPhone are nothing short of spectacular. Using every available
technological advance known, including 3D graphics and 3D positional
audio to multi-touch, Apple iPhone 3G apps offer something for everyone.

On March 12, 2009 Sprint announced the soon to be released LG
Rumor2, the newest edition of the trendy and successful LG Rumor. The
new LG Rumor2comes with a sliding QWERTY keyboard enhances services
such as email, messaging, and social networking, along with the basic
cell phone options including camera and Bluetooth.

Sprint recently introduced the Palm Treo Pro to its smart phone line up. The large touch screen and QWERTY combine with a sleek design and Sprints superfast EV-DO Rev. A mobile broadband network to make this smart phone a no brainer. Users will be impressed with the ability to get more things done while on the go.

The Apple iPhone 3G is three products all rolled in to one device. Apple has now made it easier to carry your electronic devices with you and have the Internet available at the same time and all in one hand.

Samsung has introduced the Instinct in Pink, the color that has taken the mobile phone world by storm. Beginning on January 13, 2009 Samsung customers could purchase the Samsung Instinct in the hottest color available – Pink, and at a red-hot price of only $99 after $100 mail-in rebate and 2-year contract. Savings like that will make the competition ‘pink’ with envy.

Verizon, the most reliable wireless network in the nation announced TALKS for Verizon Wireless. This new program is geared specifically towards people who are blind or have a visual impairment. This new technology transforms visual text into audible speech.

Initially available on the Motorola Q9c smartphones starting on March 15, 2009 TALKS features support for audio feedback in order to write and read text in email, messages and notes.

In November 2008, AT&T in partnership with Activision Publishing showed the world it’s rockin’ side with the AT&T & Guitar Hero Rock the World offering.

The offering gave new high speed Internet customers or U-Verse customers the most recently released version of Guitar Hero – Guitar Hero World Tour.

Verizon has expanded their sports offerings on the FiOS TV to include the NHL. Now Verizon customers can access the NHL on their Verizon phone. NHL fans are as diehard about their hockey as football players are about their hockey and now they don’t have to feel left out in the cold.

By purchasing the entire season of NHL Center Ice games customers receive a package that includes up to 40 games in the NHL that are out-of-market games and also certain games from the Stanley Cup Playoff’s first 2 rounds.

There are manuals on just about anything you can think of, now there’s even a manual for cell phone etiquette. Cell phones.org released the Official Guide to Cell Phone Etiquette in September of 2008. It’s not Emily Post but it is etiquette that anyone with a cell phone should rude.
