The Renegade V950 is Motorola’s most rugged phone yet, built to Military specifications. This phone can withstand dust, rain, shock and vibrations and keep working . This push-to-talk handset connects to the other phone in less than one second.

AT&T Leader in Disaster Response Organization

AT&T announced that its Network Disaster Recovery program has reached fruition. After a year-long effort to bring together all the necessary components to insure that wired and wireless communications remain intact during disaster situations.

With an investment of over $500 million dollars in its NDR program and over 150 portable trailers carrying technological equipment that can be deployed on a moment’s notice, AT&T has moved ahead of the pack in preparing for a national or even worldwide disaster that could affect communications.

Sprint has put together its own economic package aimed at Mainstreet America. Sprint customers cans save up to $1000 annually versus other company’s plans and this isn’t a scaled back, no talking, no messaging plan Sprint’s Family Pricing plan outshines the competition by leaps and bounds.

Sprint offers a Family Share program starting at $99.99. This is an annual savings of $240 when compared to AT&T and Verizon’s Family plans. This is just one of the ways Sprint is doing its part during the economic crisis.

Apple IPhone G3 – Enhancements not an Overhaul

The long-awaited Apple iPhone soon gave way to people waiting for a newer version. The Apple iPhone G3 is that version. In comparison to the original Apple iPhone, users will find that the changes are more enhancements than overhauls. For example, the original iPhone was considered to be slow in regards to data when compared to other devices in the same price range.

Apple took the critiquing of their iPhone in and the short timeframe of a year came back with a device sure to please and at a cost of much less than that of the original phone. The upgrades that Apple added to the iPhone are also available to current iPhone users with the iPhone software update available at the iTunes App Store.

Fans of Google Earth will be happy to know that they can now access it on their iPhone or iPod touch. The same features that are available on the desktop version will also be available on the portable version.

This application offers maps, Wikipedia articles and photos of locations. As Google Earth users know, this application makes finding a location and learning about it easier than ever before. Users will continue to experience the same navigational tools and panoramic imagery as before, only now they can actually be on their way to the location they are seeing on the screen.

Taking the Show on the Road – Virgin Mobile Festival’s Streaming Video

With the release of Virgin Mobile Festival’s Streaming Video the door is opening for performances of major concerts to be released via streaming mobile. In December, 2008 Virgin Mobile announced that customers of Virgin Mobile USA and Helio would be able to access streaming videos of the 2008 Virgin Mobile Festival.

This streaming video performance was the first from a major festival that was made available to mobile clients across the mobile platform. The Verizon Mobile Festival featured highly popular artists such as Iggy Pop, KT Tunstall, The Offspring, Sharon Jones, The Dap Kings, and Rodrigo y Gabriella.

Verizon Held Teleconference to Offer Information on the New V CAST Music with Rhapsody Feature

Although this may seem like old news it is something that you need to know about if you are not a Verizon customer. Verizon has created a partnership with V CAST Music and Rhapsody to bring customers a lot of music.

This was an important teleconference because V CAST Music with Rhapsody is the first mobile subscription service; in other words, you won't find this service with any other cell phone company.

Help the Environment by Choosing Verizon's Green Bill

If you are wondering how you can help save the environment from global warming and you are a Verizon customer, you can do this very easily by signing up for their Green Billing system. You will also help to get new trees planted with their new program.

Customers are asked to sign up for the paperless billing option and because you are doing something to help save the environment, they will also plant a tree for each customer who registers for the Green Bill and Auto Bill pay. They will do this until October 1.

The 2008 Olympics are Over but Memories Still Linger with AT&T

If you are an AT&T subscriber you probably still have the memories of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing because you are still playing around with the music and the ringtones you downloaded during that week.

If you are not a subscriber then you really missed something. In a similar format as artist have done for such projects as We Are The World, recording artists came together again to support the U.S. Olympic Team athletes as they competed in the Olympic Games.
