The cell phone dash mount is a cellular accessory which can help to put a bit of order back into proceedings. Sometimes things are a hassle enough as it is. So if you’ve had a tough day, you don’t want to be losing your cell phone in your car now do you?

Equally, that infuriating situation would hardly be the best way to start things off in the morning either. A cell phone dash mount can provide your cell phone with a place to live whilst in the car.

You know where it is, and things can run smoother. It’s a simple as that. If you just idly rest it somewhere or keep your phone in a pocket; then that’s running the risk of forgetting where it is when needed.

A dash mount is one of a range of vehicle holders for your mobile phone handset. Some other holders attach to the air vents, for example. And some phone holders even have a retractable arm.

But a dash mount (obviously) fastens to the dashboard. Whilst some need to be screwed into place; other dash mounts just fasten with sucker pads or can be adhered with special glue.

Lots of dash mount accessories for cellular phones can be used with almost any brand of phone, but some can’t. So always check yours is compatible before you buy. Another thing to watch out for is that sometimes you may need to have a holster clip to attach the two together. If required, this clip may not always be included.

A dash mount may also come as part of a cell phone hands free kit. And now that we can get GPS maps on some mobile phones, they can more useful than just for making and taking calls whilst driving.
