November 21, 2005 By: Matt Jacks What Is The Cell Phone Music Feature?Everyone knows that mobile phones are now so much more than just a cellular telephone. And along with getting smaller and lighter all the time, even a modest handset is now packed with a new affordable range of features than anytime before. So more cell phone music than ever can now tickle or thump our eardrums. And all our cell phones like their music from a variety of sources too! Just think about polyphonic ring tones for a start. With so much richer quality than the older monophonic style of ring tone, they ring out with amazing clarity of music. But although playing with our ring tones and downloading new ones is always fun. The mobile phone festival of music doesn’t stop there. There are cellular handsets which have FM radios integrated in them. So you can bop at the bus stop if you so desire! Or keep up to date with the latest traffic info for your area if you don’t have GPS cell phone maps to help you avoid the jams. Some cell phone headsets also have FM radios fitted into them. And often come with either a manual mute button or auto-mute function for when you want to take a call. Of course, if you don’t want the songs to be interrupted then just let your cell phone voicemail deal with the matter. A very different kind of jamming though will be welcome if your cellular mobile has an MP3 player in it. And if you have a memory slot in your cell phone, then you can increase your phone’s memory size to store still more music files or other things like photos.
