Motorola i560 Cell Phone – One of the Most Rugged and Reliable Mobile Phones

The Motorola i560 cell phone is one of the most rugged, reliable and function filled mobile phone for tough people. According to the company sources, the i560 mobile phone is basically an update to the popular Motorola i530, which makes the i560 tougher and more powerful than its predecessor. Experts religiously believe that the Motorola i560 is one of the toughest phones available in the market with the strongest shell and best weatherproofing as of today. Needless to say, this wireless cell phone is made to last for active people such as construction workers, fire fighters, rock climbers, hikers and avid travelers. There is strong endorsement to support this claim, because i560 is certified to meet military standards.

According to a recent press release from the company, the Motorola i560 is certified to meet military standards for dust, shock, vibration, temperature extremes, low pressure and solar radiation—all these features put this phone apart from the crowd. In the press release, Blair Kutrow, vice president, Voice Services and Subscriber Devices, Nextel said, "The Motorola i560 includes features that Nextel customers asked for in a flip-style rugged handset, including our Group Connect and Direct Talk walkie-talkie services, Java capability and an external display."

Unmatched Push-To-Talk Feature Along With Others

Recently, two legends; Motorola Inc. and Nextel Communications Inc., have announced the Motorola i560, which is not only a simple mobile phone, but also provides unmatched push-to-talk/walkie-talkie capabilities for active users or people in groups. By using Motorola i560, you can have multiple ways to communicate and increase productivity, on and off the Nextel network. Their advanced push-to-talk feature supports Nextel Direct Connect, Group Direct Connect and Direct Talk, enabling group walkie-talkie conversations with up to 20 participants nationwide. That means you can use your phone like a 2-way radio off the Nextel network, while as a cell phone in the network. Other great features of Motorola i560 are: MP3 ringtones, multiple language support (English, Spanish, and French), customizable graphics, hands-free dialing (available with Nextel application download), an internal color display, speakerphone, voice recorder, GPS capabilities and an Internet micro-browser along with special airplane mode which enables the network signal to be turned off during flight.
