October 02, 2005 By: Alison Lelliott Kyocera K10 Cell Phones – The First JAVA-Enabled Kyocera PhoneKyocera K10 cell phones are the first JAVA enabled Kyocera wireless handsets. The Kyocera K10 cell phone (also known as K10 Royale) is one of the most simple and feature filled cell phones, as it features a built-in flashlight, voice-activated dialing, calendars, alarm clock, a built-in contact directory and predictive text-input for rapid text entry. Because of a JAVA platform, the Kyocera K10 cell phone allows customers to download a vast array of games, wallpapers and ringtones, and enables them to chat more comfortably with their family and friends. There is a huge demand for the cell phones, especially amongst the youth, which allow users to download ring tones, wallpapers and games. For these customers, the Kyocera K10 mobile provides more opportunities for personalization and entertainment options at their fingertips. The Strong And Weak Points Of The Kyocera K10Based upon the analysis of the cell phone's technical specifications, experts believe that there are many strong and weak points of Kyocera K10 mobile phone. However, it is to be understood that it is very subjective in nature, as every customer has their own expectations and requirements, but these are some general points of interest to almost every user. Let’s see the strong or positive points first. The Kyocera K10 wireless phone is light in weight, as it weighs only 3.5 ounces. We see this is relatively lighter than many other cell phones available in this price range with these features and functionalities. Next is battery performance, which is above average, as it has a maximum rated standby time of 180 hours and a talk time of 210 minutes. Additionally, this cell phone has an excellent color display with color mode of 65,000 with resolution of 104 x 80. Lastly, the K10 has powerful text messaging, as it features a special way of typing text, either a full keyboard or some predictive text entry method such as T9 or iTAP—certainly which makes this cell phone an excellent choice. The weak points are few, but they do exist: it doesn’t have a camera (which has become an essential part of every modern day cell phone) and a built-in speakerphone (which is again a must have in any cell phone these days). Next, if you are a heavy user of laptops and frequently love to transfer data, wallpapers, and ringtones, then this phone will surely disappoint you as it doesn’t have an infrared port and not even Bluetooth compatibility.
