T-Mobile Launches Cell Phone Tones - CallerTunes Is Unique To The USA

Times are changing for T-Mobile USA subscribers across the country. They can now get rid of that boring old switchboard ring that their callers hear when they call in, and instead the callers can be treated to another cellular tune that far better represents their own unique style and preference. T-Mobile's ringback cell phone tones service, CallerTunes is the magic behind this innovation. T-Mobile is the first company to launch a ringback cell phone tone service nationwide.

If you use the CallerTunes ringtones service, your wireless phone will 'ring' with your favorite song or other audio clip when someone is calling your cell phone - terrific for you – but not so terrific for your callers. They still hear the dull old style ring tone. But now, as a CallerTunes subscriber, you can select ringback audio clips for the people calling you to hear before you answer the phone. You can change your tone preferences according to whether it's for specific individuals, groups of friends, or at certain times of the day – this allowing you to represent your style in many different ways.

You Want Music – We’ve Got Music

T-Mobile has partnered with the three largest music companies - SONY BMG Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group - as well as key independent record labels and other content providers, to provide T-Mobile subscribers with this broad collection of ringback tone content. The content includes everything from platinum-selling favorites Barenaked Ladies, Beyonce, Disturbed, Simple Plan, Marvin Gaye, and Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz; to rockers, The Killers and 3 Doors Down; and classic artists Santana and Eric Clapton. There is a master ringback tone catalog of more than 10,000 tracks that people can choose from.

CallerTunes is a network-based offering so it is available to all T-Mobile post-pay customers for a cost of $1.49 monthly subscription fee, and a one-time charge of $1.99 for each CallerTune.
