Verizon Wireless has licensed technology from HeyAnita to support Voice Gear voice activated phones. This is actually Verizon Wireless' dedicated suite of voice-enabled services that allow voice activated phone dialing, voice browsing and business oriented e-mail browsing. Verizon and HeyAnita has partnered together on the basis of a technology licensing agreement that will span several years. This agreement will engage HeyAnita to provide Verizon Wireless with software and services that will deploy these voice activated solutions in line with customer requirements.

HeyAnita is a voice software development company that provides the worlds leading telecommunication service providers and enterprise customers with technologies for the deployment of voice and multimodal solutions. Verizon Wireless is America’s leading wireless service provider for the consumer cell phone market.

A Brand New Day – A Brand New Partnership

This new partnership will allow Verizon to continue to off the most up to the minute service offerings to customers. This is what will keep them as the leader in the field of cell phone service innovation.

One of the newest offerings is Corporate Email Reader. This program allows users to listen to and manage corporate e-mail over their Verizon Wireless handset. It can be accessed for a monthly fee of $9.99 and is available to both existing and new business customers. In addition both business customers and private consumers can experience Voice Gear's Voice Activated Dialing and Voice Browsing-a service which gives access to Internet-based content, using voice commands to retrieve news, weather and sports updates, business page, financial information for just $4.99 per month with any calling plan. These charges can both be added to the users regular call monthly billing cycle.
