It would be all right there in the palm of your hand and you call up the content when it suited you. Well funnily enough, the latest wireless multimedia phones offer exactly those kinds of features and that sort of content. Showing on demand content including 3-D games, news, sports, entertainment and music videos, Verizon Wireless have developed partnerships that offer you wireless multimedia phone content that will quite simply blow you way. V CAST – Taking Content Where It Has Never Gone BeforeVerizon Wireless has announced its newest revolutionary service to be known as V CAST. V CAST will be country’s first truly authentic 3G wireless multimedia service for consumers. This means that subscribers to the Verizon network will have access to all sorts of never before seen cell phone specific content. Using the Verizon broadband EV-DO (Evolution-Data Optimized) 3G network, customers will be able to use their new handsets in order to access VCAST’s video on-demand service, viewing all of the up to the minute news, weather, sports and entertainment programming. Not to mention the fact that they will also be able to download and play cutting-edge three-dimensional games and watch music videos and short programs specifically designed for mobile phones and other handheld devices. For a $15.00 subscription fee per month (which can be added to the users Verizon Wireless calling plan) cell phone customers will receive full access to the V CAST VPak which includes unlimited access to more than 300 daily updated video clips from content providers. There is plenty of free content but application download fees do apply for 3D games and some premium content.
