Samsung Telecommunications America – the latest high quality manufacturer of wireless multimedia handsets and Verizon Wireless, the nation’s leading wireless service provider, have announced that the SCH-a890, the first 3G wireless multimedia handset from Samsung, will be available on the Verizon Wireless V CAST service, America’s first truly authentic 3G wireless multimedia service. With an absolutely stunning 260,000-color capable main display, the Samsung-a890 provides an ideal venue for viewing videos. It also boasts an in built rotating 1.3-mega pixel digital camera so customers are able to take high-quality images and send them via the on board Picture Messaging functionality. By paying a monthly fee of $15.00 Verizon Wireless customers can gain access to this service. To make it easy customers can add this fee to their existing monthly calling plan fee for their current handset. The $15.00 is inclusive of the V CAST VPak which includes unlimited access from their handset, to a wide array of more than 300 daily updated video clips from leading content providers. Users can pay an additional fee to also download 3D games, premium video clips, and all other Get It Now applications on a per download basis.
