ESPN content including a regular wireless sport update will be broadcast to users via Verizon Wireless’ new V CAST 3G wireless broadband service. V CAST, owned and operated by Verizon Wireless, is the first genuine 3G wireless broadband consumer multimedia service in the United States and delivers clear, high quality images to more than 75 million people across 30 major metropolitan markets. Using the V CAST facility, Verizon Wireless customers will have regular a regular sports update schedule and supply of video clips. Each video clip will be specifically created for delivery on a wireless cell phone and will be between 1-5 minutes in length. $15.00 per month will cover the cost of the V CAST access which includes unlimited access to the select ESPN content along with more than 300 daily updated videos from leading content providers relating to entertainment, news and information. This fee can be added to your monthly Verizon cellular calling plan charges so you don’t have to pay anything up front.
