Walt Disney Group and Verizon Wireless have announced the availability of cell phone games from Disney across the Verizon Wireless network to Verizon Wireless subscribers. Kingdom Hearts, a 3D cell phone game inspired by the Interactive video game of the same name is one such option made available through this partnership.

Mobile phone games like Kingdom Hearts, are available via V CAST which operates on the Verizon Wireless’ Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) network. This network is accssed by some 30 major metropolitan markets and covers more than 75 million people. That’s a lot of game playing.

The mobile specific Kingdom Hearts game offers users a completely original adventure featuring Sora who is bearer of the KeyBlade. When starting, players find Sora stranded on a deserted island and the aim of the game is to assist Sora in sourcing supplies that will help him to escape from the island. There are all sorts of puzzles and challenges to complete along the way.

Kingdom Hearts is the ideal game for adaptation to mobile use. For only $15 per month cell phone users can access games and other content through the V CAST package. The VCAST VPak offers unlimited access to more than 300 daily updated video clips, games and other content. Some basic games are free but premium games do attract a surcharge.
