Cingular Wireless Xpress Mail – Two New Enterprise-class Wireless Email Solutions For Companies Of All Sizes

Cingular Wireless, one of the worlds leading telecommunications provider, has now announced the launch of two new enterprise-class wireless cell phone e-mail solutions; Xpress Mail Enterprise Edition and Xpress Mail Network Edition. Xpress Mail Enterprise Edition operates behind a company’s corporate firewall and Xpress Mail Network Edition is a managed service that is hosted offsite by Cingular. Both cell phones email solutions have been designed by Seven on behalf of Cingular, with company’s of all shapes and sizes in mind. These systems are suitable for a variety of cell phones, including palmOne's Treo 600 which is offered to the consumer marketplace by Cingular.

These systems make cell phone based email affordable and flexible for business customers. This essentially means that business customers can use multiple devices to connect to multiple e-mail platforms. The security is high end and can be managed with ease by in-house IT employees. They beauty of the systems in fact are their ease of use, because it means that companies do not need to hire in special expertise to manage the systems for email users within the business.

Some of the features of these phone based email systems include added security from the firewall, no ongoing hardware purchases required, data access using existing programs such as Lotus Domino, IMAP and POP e-mail, personal contacts and other directories are all available in real time, information is synchronized from device to device with ease, devices can use different inboxes if required by the user and finally, global access for users to be able to check email from wherever they are.
