Philips has announced its most recent offering with the 855 Philips camera phone which allows users to share digital images by multimedia messaging or display them on a television set. Philips camera phones have never been quite like this, offering a whole new way of sharing those precious moments with family and friends.

The Philips 855 cell phone offers an integrated VGA camera which makes it easy to simply takes photos in one quick click. With just a few more clicks you can add these photos to your multimedia messaging tools and add voice messages using the FotoTalk feature on the wireless phone.

The 855 cell phone takes sharing photos one step further thanks to Philips' unique TV SlideShow feature. You can connect your phone to a television using an option TV link cable. This will allow you to run slides shows and pre-selected one of stills images.

The Philips 855 also features a huge 7MB memory, big enough to store as many as 1,000 pictures, MMS messages and wallpaper backgrounds. In addition, photos of family, friends and regular callers can be attached to numbers in the phonebook using the FotoCall feature. This means that if someone calls from a number that is stored in the phonebook their photo will be displayed.
