Cell Memory Chips – The World's Smallest Chips, All For Your Phone

Panasonic has announced its worldwide launch of the miniSDTM cell memory chips coming in three capacity sizes - 32MB, 64MB and 128MB. Each of these three miniSDTM cell memory chip options is a flash memory card that is designed specifically for use in mobile cell phones.

Removable mobile memory chips are designed to meet the ever increasing demands of cell phones that have features including high resolution cameras, content downloading capabilities, and compatibility and integration with PCs and laptops like PDAs.

The Panasonic miniSDTM mobile storage chip has outstanding functions and performance but is pint sized in dimensions. Weighing about a gram, the Panasonic miniSDTM memory card is the world's smallest cellular flash memory card.

The 128MB Panasonic miniSDTM Card can store 880 still images and approximately three hours of music. Its data transfer speed is around 2 megabytes per second which both improves the usability of the phones and also helps to enable smooth exchanges of data with PC devices and audio-video devices such as digital TVs, DVD recorders and printers.

One of the more popular and unique features of the Panasonic miniSDTM wireless memory chip is that just like the popular standard SD Memory Card, the new miniSDTM Card incorporates copyright protection technology which prevents unauthorized copying of content created by the cell phones owner.
