The N900iG mobile phone needs to subscribe to the DoCoMo 3G roaming service or partnering providers to allow them to access the communications, videophone, SMS and voice calls technology within other countries. The 900iG NEC mobile cellular phone is compatible with both GSM and 3G W-CDMA networks for voice, video calling and SMS in approximately 115 countries and regions and users can send and receive mail worldwide. They can even visit the web while in a foreign countries. The wireless cell phone is very easy to use and quite intuitive, which is great for the new user. The cellular phone is designed to search automatically for 3G or GSM networks. But in the event that the user has specific requirements they can manually set the phone to either 3G fixed or GSM fixed stand-by mode. The N900iG NEC 3G cellular is much more than its network though. It comprises all of the standard features of wireless phones, including a 1.24 mega pixels digital camera that can take 960 x 1280 dots photos, advanced text message and contacts management and the ability to send and receive emails with songs, photos and animations.
