Helping You Connect! |

April 27, 2005 By: Matt Jacks Bluetooth Cell Phones Free From Tangled WiresThe most obvious advantage of a wireless phone is that it is in fact, wireless. However, that's not always the case. With Bluetooth cell phones you can quite literally free yourself from a tangled knot of complications. For most cell phone users to use their mobile phone, with a cellular accessory like an earpiece or headset in the car or at the desktop, then out comes the cable to get them into a real mess. Not so with a Bluetooth cell phone, since Bluetooth is a clever system that needs no wires to work. Instead, Bluetooth technology uses radio waves to recognize and communicate with other Bluetooth devices over a very short range (anything up to about 30 feet or 10 meters if you prefer metric). Initially it was the bright idea of the Ericsson company - now Sony Ericsson of course, but today it's found on many other latest cell phones like those from Nokia and Motorola for just two brands; Bluetooth can make connectivity so much easier. Make Your Phone Truly WirelessIts not only the Bluetooth hands free kits where the advantage can come, if your cell phone supports this standard then it can connect wirelessly with any other device which is also Bluetooth compatible, like a laptop or printer for example; which you may view as favorable if your cellular phone has an integrated digital camera which you love to use or when you get picture messaging sent to your phone. So Bluetooth can involve a lot less hassle, for either a PDA or cellular phone, freeing you from those frustrating minutes of wrestling with cables that seem to have a mind of their own!
