Sprint International Calling Plan – Boon For Hispanic Customers

The new Sprint international calling plan for calling Mexico, known as the New Sprint PCS International(SM) Calling Plan, is a step in the right direction to honor the commitment to serve Hispanic customers by the company. The new wireless plan that was put forth by Sprint includes a Mexico prepaid calling card with flat-rate pricing and new international wireless calling plans.

Sprint has a large customer base who speak Spanish. This customer base is also growing rapidly. These new offerings are a part of the marketing initiative to tap the rapidly growing Hispanic market. The wireless plans combine with the already present data applications in Spanish, ringers in Latin, Directory Assistance in the Spanish language and a variety of other initiatives largely to support Spanish customers.

The best part about the Sprint international wireless calling plans are that you can call Mexico anywhere for nine cents a minute at any time of the day by paying an additional monthly recurring charge of $4.00. However, the person needs to be on the Sprint Nationwide PCS Network. The new international wireless plans are also a very cost effective plan for wireless calls to Latin America and other countries.

Sprint also provides Hispanic customers with a wireline solution known as the Sprint Prepaid PhoneCard, which is available to call Mexico. There are no charges for connection which is the norm followed by many prepaid phone card service providers, unless you are making a call from a United States payphone.

Other international wireless plans and features that are offered by Sprint for Hispanic customers include customer service in Spanish, News from the Associated Press in Spanish as well as Roadside Rescue Assistance, which is also provided in the Spanish language. Handling headsets by Spanish speaking customers is also not a problem because of prompts in Spanish.
