Sprint also plans to provide a new version for its customers exclusively, the Sprint PCS Vision Smart Device PPC-6600. This Windows based PC phone would be a camera phone that is equipped with a VGA-quality camera. The camera would include flash and would be capable of taking video clips. According to Sprint, they have launched this Windows based PC phone product and hope to launch versions of the product to ensure their commitment of providing latest technology on their mobile phones. Both PPC-6601 and 6600 are powered with the latest Windows-based software and are capable of handling wireless voice and data. The product is mainly aimed at business professionals who are on the move to stay connected with their businesses and maintain productivity. The PPC-6601 phone has a 400 MHz processor which is powered by Intel® XScale™ and a memory of 128 MB. Users of the phone would be able to create documents, send and receive cell phone email, etc. The 6601 also offers cell phone browsers and users can even listen to music faster than on other cellular phones. The mobile is very slim. The viewer can view the display in both portrait and landscape modes. It also has a cell phone Qwerty keyboard for easy typing. All in all, a good product from Sprint.
