What Is The Cell Phone Voice Memo Feature?

The cell phone voice memo feature allows the cell phone user the ability to record short messages to be played back later.

Cellular phone voice memos are mainly used by people who use their cell phone calendars and other features intended to make their days run more smoothly. People in the business world find their voice memo features on their cellular phones to be exceptionally useful.

Cellular phone voice memos are often broken down into blocks of recording time. These blacks can be as little as five or ten seconds per memo or they can be as long as a few minutes.

This is often a phones feature selling point, and the actual length varies from time to time. Check around with a few different cell phone carriers such as Liberty Wireless or the folks at Sprint PCS Wireless before you buy your cellular phones off them; seeing who they have deals with and which manufacturers they are selling packages with can go a long way to making an informed decision on any cell phone purchase.

There are a couple ways cell phone voice memos can be accessed on cellular phones, again depending on the specifications of the cell phone manufacturer. The most common kind of cell phones voice memo is one where the user punches in choice they would like from the features menu, then simply hits a button and records their message.

Another way that cell phone voice memos can be accessed is through the use of voice command technology. If a cellular phone allows for voice commands, then it is possible it will allow the user to simply say the command words, such as “Take Memo, Ten Seconds” or something similar and proceed to record the memo for the user without having to push any buttons or set anything up beforehand.
