Camera Phone Review — The Hottest Phones Are Here!

What does it take to earn a great camera phone review? Sharp picture quality, an easy-to-view display, and great sound clarity are a few of the things that make a camera phone a winner. Reliability and a keypad that’s easy to navigate are two more qualities that users review in top wireless phones.

The best camera phone review usually goes to phones with a 1.2 megapixel camera (or better) built-in. Anything less than this and your pictures may look a little “grainy” if you try and print them on 4 x 6 inch photo paper. VGA cameras are fine for viewing digital pictures on another cell phone or a computer, but they don’t make the best enlargements. Shutterbugs should take heart...Samsung and several manufacturers are due to put 5 megapixel camera phones on the market in the near future.

Another thing to review in a camera phone is the quality of the display. Phones that are well-reviewed have 65k full color displays with a backlight that is bright enough to see in the daylight. Lower-quality 4k displays are fine for game play and color graphics but they lack the resolution for viewing digital pictures.

There are several ways to transfer pictures from camera phones. You can send pictures to another phone or an e-mail address using multimedia messaging technology. You can upload the pictures to a computer using a USB cable. Some camera phones can transfer pictures wirelessly using an infrared port similar to those found on personal digital assistants (PDAs) but this tends to be a slow process. Bluetooth is an exciting new technology that lets you make a wireless connection to computers, as well as headsets and other devices.
