Wireless Phone Cameras – Savings Are In The Air

Today’s wireless phone cameras are easier than ever to own. Thanks to new technology combined with promotional deals and incentives from cell phone carriers, you can find camera phones that cost less than a night on the town.

When shopping for wireless phone cameras, there are a few things you should look for. People who take a lot of pictures should look for a phone cameras that give those pictures an extra edge. To make your phone cameras picture come out better, it helps to have a flash or movie light and a digital zoom. Some camera phones even come with picture editing software to adjust color, brightness and contrast.

Once you take digital pictures, you might want to print them to save in a photo album. In that case, you should look for a camera phone with 1.2 megapixel resolution or higher. VGA cameras are perfectly fine if you’re just planning on sharing the pictures with other digital phones or viewing them on a computer.

When it comes time to share your pictures, carriers like Cingular or T-Mobile give you a number of options. You can use multimedia messaging technology to send digital snapshots to other MMS-capable phones. Or you can send the pictures to an e-mail address. T-Mobile and other carriers let you post your pictures on the Internet.

The novelty of having a camera built-in with your telephone makes it easy to overlook some of the other features bundled into most camera cell phones. Count on getting a phonebook, calendar, and organizer with your phone, giving it much the same functionality of a personal digital assistant (PDA). You might also consider adding accessories like a leather holster, hands-free headset and a car kit to get the most from your phone.

With amazing advancements in wireless technology and prices that are continuing to fall, it's no wonder that cell phones with onboard cameras are catching on all across the country, even in places like Dothan, Alabama, Glendale, Arizona and Hot Springs, Arkansas. ;)
