ATT Wireless Phones — Next Generation Phones, Next Generation Service

With the merger of AT&T and Cingular, cell phone users can take advantage of the largest digital phone network in the country. ATT Wireless phones are based on technology using the Global System for Mobile communications (GSM™), the fastest growing cellular technology in the world. This makes the AT&T wireless phone compatible with more international markets.

For the globe-trotter there is the NEC 525 quad band phone, designed to work across all international GSM cellular networks. This ATT Wireless phone has a large 65k color display to take full advantage of the phones built-in digital camera. The 525 cell phone offers three ways to browse the Internet—WML, i-Mode and WAP 2.0.

The Samsung e316 cellular is ready to go when you are. This ultra light cellular flip phone has dual 65k color displays. A built-in VGA camera combined with multimedia messaging service lets you send and receive digital pictures or video clips. The cell phone is Java enabled for games and applications that you can download using mMode.

Is wireless text messaging your thing? The Nokia 6820 handset for AT&T has a fold-open QWERTY keypad, letting you type words faster. A built-in camera lets you take digital pictures or video clips. The five-way joystick makes it easy to navigate menus. Bluetooth technology lets you connect wirelessly to your laptop computer or handsfree headset.

Now that AT&T and Cingular have joined forces, AT&T cell phone users get the added benefit of Cingular’s Rollover Minutes. Unused talk time rolls over into the next month. There is also a pay-as-you-go plan for users who don’t want to be tied to a monthly contract.
