November 02, 2004 By: Greg Marsden Cingular ATT Wireless — Joining Forces For Better ServiceTwo of the nation’s favorite carriers have joined together to become Cingular ATT Wireless. The merger promises customers a larger network and better service, drawing on the strengths of both companies. Cingular ATT promotions continue to provide super savings on rate plans, super add-ons like picture messaging and downloadable ringtones, along with great wireless rate options like Cingular’s Rollover minutes. At the end of each month Cingular wireless gives you the option of rolling all unused minutes into the next month. Families can save as well, with Cingular and AT&T Family Talk plans that let users pay share minutes from a pool, all for one low monthly fee. Cingular wireless and AT&T also has a range of prepaid cell phone plans, including a wireless plan with unlimited weekend minutes. One of the things that wireless customers like best about Cingular is their great selection of AT&T wireless phones. The LG L1400 is a high-fashion wireless phone with a built-in VGA digital camera. Multimedia messaging technology lets you share digital pictures. The LG L1400 supports AOL Instant Messenger, letting you keep in touch with everyone on your Cingular AT&T wireless buddy list. For fast photo action, the Sony Ericsson T637 for Cingular uses QuickShare technology for point-shoot-and-send speed. Built-in Instant Messaging lets you chat with friends while they use their computers. Bluetooth technology lets you connect wirelessly to any other Bluetooth device, including headsets, laptops, and desktop computers. “Basic” just doesn’t apply to Cingular’s most affordable wireless phones. The Siemens C61 starts with a bright 4K display that is great for sending and receiving digital pictures. You can download games, graphics and ringtones. This Cingular Wireless phone supports full audio ringtones. Add the camera attachment, sold separately, and take your own pictures. Wherever you live, from Brownwood, Texas to Red Bank, Tennessee or even Warren, Rhode Island, you’re sure to benefit from the merger of AT&T and Cingular Wireless.
