November 02, 2004 By: Greg Marsden Kyocera Cell Phone — Slide, Flip, Compact“Style” is the word that comes to mind when you think of the Kyocera cell phone. Their all new lineup of mobile phones marries the best of high technology with sleek lines, graceful curves and sharp good looks. The latest addition to the Kyocera cell phone line is the Koi KX2 camera phone. With a 1.2 megapixel camera built-in, this phone is set to take high quality snapshots. With 16 MB of storage, there’s enough room for 40 full resolution pictures—the same as a full roll of film. The KX2 can take MPEG-4 video clips as well. All of this is concealed in an elegant body that slides open to reveal full-featured mobile phones. The Slider SE 44 and SE 47 have the same sleek sliding action as the Koi, only without the camera. Kyocera Slider series phones are BREW 2.0 capable for downloading games, pictures and MIDI ringtones. The built-in schedule and organizer can synch with your PC using an optional USB data cable. The cellular phone is data capable, meaning that you can use it as a wireless modem for your laptop when you’re on the road. A GPS locator can give your whereabouts in an emergency. The fashion-conscious will flip for the SoHo KX1 cellular flip phone. The stylish clamshell conceals many of the same features as the Slider phones, but can be dressed up with changeable faceplates. The cellular phone sports a speakerphone for handsfree talking and provides up to three hours talk time. Along with the Palm OS based Kyocera 7135 Smartphone, there is a full range of compact cellular phones that are ready to party. Blade, Rave and Phantom cell phones come in multiple configurations with choices of grayscale, 4k color and 65k color displays. The new Aktiv series has a rugged rubberized housing that can take a beating better than ordinary cell phones. Whether you live in McKinney, Texas, Vienna, Virginia or even Oak Harbor, Washington, there’s sure to be a Kyocera cell phone that fits your style.
