Samsung PDA Phones — Smart Looks, Smart Phones

Is it possible to combine a cellular phone with the power of an organizer, a word processor, and a digital camera…without sacrificing style? That’s the promise behind Samsung PDA phones. The five devices in the Samsung line are all first-class cellular phones with a powerful PDA built-in.

PDA stands for personal digital assistant, a term used to describe palm-sized computers that can do many of the tasks a desktop model can do. The Samsung PDA phone line starts at the top with the SPH-i700 for Verizon Wireless. This Windows-powered Pocket PC lets you run familiar applications like Windows Pocket Outlook, Pocket Internet Explorer, Pocket Word and Pocket Excel. You can manage your email or connect to a corporate website. An integrated digital camera has zoom and exposure control for great pictures.

Next on the list is the Samsung SP-i600 for Sprint PCS. featuring the Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 operating system. The OS gives Windows users a familiar look and feel, while supporting favorite applications like Microsoft Outlook. Verizon has a companion model to this cell phone, the SCH-i600.

Finally, the SPH-i300 for Sprint PCS is an ideal entry-level PDA cell phone. With Palm OS and 3G web and e-mail access you can easily stay connected. You can synchronize entries with your PC using a USB data cable. The i600 and i700 models also synchronize with a computer, plus they each have SD I/O expansion slots for optional Bluetooth or WiFi cards allowing wireless connection to computers or networks.

Samsung’s range of PDA cell phones makes it easier than ever for users to control their data, whether they are in Orem, Utah, Danville, Virginia or even Bainbridge Island, Washington. With all these great features you might be tempted to forget PDA cell phones can take advantage of traditional cell phone services like downloadable ringtones, Multimedia messaging technology and text messaging.
