Compare Cell Phones — Find A Phone To Match Your Personality

It wasn’t that long ago that a telephone was a large heavy instrument that you leased from the phone company. Today’s lightweight wireless phones are so small and portable that they’ve become fashion accessories. In order to find a phone that fits the way you live, work and play, it pays to compare cell phones before you buy. Be sure to review cellular phones from a number of manufacturers. Nokia is one of the most popular cellular brands, but lesser known companies such as Mitsubishi, and Sanyo also have some stunning options.

When you start to compare cell phone choices you’ll quickly discover technology that you didn’t know existed. Some cellular phone models have a megapixel digital camera built-in, capable of taking snapshots and video clips. Cell phone cameras won’t make stunning 8 x 10 glossy photos like a high-end digital camera, but that’s an unfair comparison. When was the last time you called someone on your camera?

As you compare the different mobile phones on the market, also be sure to see how the cellular service plans stack up. For instance, if you are shopping for a camera phone, you’re likely to want a plan that supports Multimedia Messaging Service so that you can send and receive digital pictures. Cingular supports MMS messaging, letting you send photos or greeting cards to other phones. Verizon Wireless supports the getFLIX service that lets you send pictures or video clips to an email address.

As you shop for a phone be sure and check rate plans for long distance and roaming charges. If you live in Alabaster, Alabama and have relatives scattered between Anchorage, Alaska and Abbeville, Louisiana you can save a bundle on the right plan. If you’re like most people, getting a great deal on a phone is sure to match your personality.
