April 13, 2005 By: Jack Adams Motorola Cell Phones – V3 Razr Thin HandsetMotorola cell phones, is proud to introduce the V3 Razr, a thin ultra stylish device that you may not even recognize as a cell phone. When Motorola unveiled the V3 Razr in July, 2004, Motorola cell phones refered to the V3 Rasr as “the device formerly known as a cell phone.” Setting out to create the thinnest cellular handset on the market, Motorola engineers have succeeded. The V3 is just 14 mm thick when it's folded, making it the thinnest cell phone handset on the market. The new Motorola phones will appeal to the high-end and fashion-conscious cell phone client. Like other popular Motorola cellular phones, the V3 Razr has a clamshell design and the thinness of the phone requires a creative choice of materials. Motorola's latest cell phones are made of metal alloys and glass, a cool change from plastic phones. Motorola’s solution to keeping the keyboard thin, was to make the entire keypad a chemically etched touch panel. The new feel of the cell phone’s keypad may take some getting used to, but consumers will soon come to appreciate the large numbers. Slightly wider than most cellular handsets and with an external screen cleverly disguising the fact that it really is a fully functionally cell phone, the new Motorola phone looks more like a PDA. An internal antenna, high-resolution color screen, camera and Bluetooth functionality are other features of the V3 Razr.
