Wireless Retailer, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, has national agreements with major wireless carriers to sell their service plans at 2,500 distribution centers. The company represents such carriers as Cingular, Nextel, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Alltel. Most of the Wireless distribution centers follow the store-in-store model. Wireless currently has retail kiosks in Wal-Marts, K-Marts, Sam’s Clubs, BJ’s Wholesale Clubs, Meijers and Menards. Another aspect of the wireless retailer is its speciality staffing program. Wireless offers professional training for employees at Circuit City, Best Buy and various wireless carriers. In 2002, Wireless and RadioShack entered into a multi-year agreement. Wireless Retailer negotiates agreements for service plans and cellular phone equipment on behalf of RadioShack.
