Nokia Cellular Phones – Smallest In 3G Market

The new 6630 Nokia cellular phones are currently the smallest 3G megapixel phone on the market. The new Nokia phone was introduced in June 2004 and will be available the fall of 2004.

The innovative Nokia cellular phone gives users e-mail alerts, live streaming video and teleconferencing capabilities. The Nokia 6630 is the first cellular phone to combine 3G, EDGE and smartphone platform Series 60 technology.

3G environments, the emerging standard in cellular communications, offer high speeds and increased broadband access to the Internet. Cell phone users can now download e-mail, including attachments, at speeds up to 384 kbps. The latest Nokia cellular phones seek to maximize these 3G benefits.

At a tech show in South Africa, the Nokia 6630 stood out for it’s compact size. New features and technology tend to make G3 phones bulky and cumbersome. Nokia addressed this issue by dropping some standard features and streamlining others. The Nokia phone has just one display for video conferencing, but this doesn’t affect the majority of users, who opt to use text conferencing rather than the video feature.

The Nokia 6630 cell phone comes with an MP3 player and a 1.3 megapixel camera with a 6x variable zoom. By just pushing a button, this phone takes pictures and can record up to one hour of video.

The Nokia 6630 is the first cellular handset designed to work worldwide on all 3G (WCDMA), EDGE and 2G networks.
