September 10, 2004 By: Mark Harris Audiovox MVX506 Cell PhoneThe Audiovox MVX506 cell phone allows basic messaging with some carriers, operating on the enhanced narrowband AMPS (N-AMPS) network as well as traditional AMPS. SID management allows the phone to be listed in multiple cities. Other features include analog anti-fraud security authentication, auto PIN dialing, and one-touch emergency dialing. The Audiovox MVX506 mobile cell phones offer caller ID and voicemail notification through some carriers. Memory locations keep track of 25 frequently used numbers. The Audiovox MVX506 dual mode handheld cellular phone battery gives up to 80 minutes talk time, and up to 12 hours standby. Optional accessories sold separately for Audiovox cellular telephones include a desktop charger, handsfree car kit, leather carrying case and battery eliminator.
